Monsoon was awarded the Audience Award for best Canadian Film at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival. Scored by our director Andrew T. Mackay in London with a host of UK Indian musicians including Sirishkumar on tabla/percussion, British Sarod legend Soumik Datta as well as sitarist Clem Alford.
The score also features Monsoon Malabar from Bombay Dub Orchestra‘s second album 3 Cities which also used in the trailer for the film and was co-written with Bombay Dub Orchestra co-founder Garry Hughes.
